As in any state, before you can acquire a temporary permit in Ohio you’ll have to pass the BMV’s written driving test. The Ohio driving permit test is divided into two sections with 20 questions each. There are 20 questions pertaining to road signs and another 20 regarding motor vehicle laws. Taking a pretest is the best way to ensure that you’ll retain all the essential information that you’ll need. Failing the Ohio driving permit test will require you to wait at least 24 hours before retaking it.
